Start with serving size
All ingredient amounts are interpreted in relation to the serving. A bottle with 120 capsules is not necessarily four months if the serving is four capsules daily.
Separate ingredient weight from elemental amount
Mineral chelates and compounds can be labeled in ways that confuse the total compound weight with the elemental mineral amount. VigorPeak's “Boron Amino Acid Chelate 5% — 20 mg” is a good example of why wording matters.
Extract ratio is not the whole story
A 100:1 extract can sound automatically stronger than a lower ratio, but extraction methods and standardization to active compounds matter. Ratios should not be treated as potency scores across brands.
Look below the active panel
“Other ingredients” can include capsule material, binders, flow agents and colorants. Allergies and dietary preferences may make these relevant.
Check warnings and directions
The bottle you receive should take priority over an older web article because formulas and instructions can change.
